We will explore jazz groups, instrument by instrument, to show how each instrument adapted to become integral to small group jazz.  Conversely, we will trace the disappearance of some instruments from mainstream small group jazz. 

Leader: George Wilson, formerly president of Record Research associates, board member of New Jersey Jazz Society, and host of "Collector’s Wax," WWFM, has an extensive jazz record collection.

Monday: 2.00 to 4.00 p.m.,10 weeks beginning September 24.
